Absolutely great experience at Mari.ne! The different types of Hand Rolls and Raw Bar were extremely fresh and top of the line. Would definitely come back for either a quick meal, or date night

This spot specializes in Korean handrolls brought to you by the Chef behind Michelin-starred restaurants, Kochi and Mari. Each handroll was prepared right in front of us, using the freshest ingredients. What sets their handrolls apart are their unique Korean flavors. I especially love the Curry Kabocha. These handrolls were incredibly fresh, and the crispness of the seaweed elevated them to a whole new level. The appetizers were really delicious! My favorite is the Brown Butter Scallop. It's creamy and divinely wonderful. The rice noodle soup with Korean fish broth was truly comforting, perfect for the chilly weather.

With delicious dishes and affordable prices, this place is a hidden gem in the heart of Times Square. The food was absolutely delicious, people were very nice and welcoming and the space is so intimate and inviting. I love the hand roll bar concept and I always love exploring new places. If you are a fan of this concept, you should definitely check this place out. We got the 5 Hand Rolls Set and extra Yellowtail, Shrimp and Mushroom (my favorite) rolls.

if you're looking for a place to get handrolls, mari.ne is a good spot near times square! they have two handroll sets you can choose from, one of them being vegan. the fish tasted fresh, and i was also pleasantly surprised by how tasty the vegan set was! we loved the appetizers - the trevisano salad and the shrimp tempura. the salad was so refreshing and the shrimp tempura sauce was super addicting. make sure to make a reservation in advance because they only seat a handful of people!

Such a great spot! I loved every dish we got but my favorites were the scallop carpaccio, the raw oysters, the janchi guksu, and the yuzu custard cake! Seriously so good! It’s a cute, cozy spot for a date night or a catch up with a friend!

The raw oysters are so fresh ! The rolls are made in front of me and they are great. The sake wine is smooth and Yuzu cake for dessert is just so lovely and delicate. Recommended to check out this place if you love Korean handrolls.

5 handrolls for 29! Personally loved it more than kazu nori and nami nori. The nori was amazing and every handroll had a great rice to fish ratio. The service was okay. They forgot to give our last roll, and we were waiting and waiting. Ended up flagging the server that we didn’t get our last roll and he had bumped the orders too fast. Kind of made us feel uncomfortable making us feel like we were served all food when not, and it was not busy at all (2 other parties only with 6 empty seats).

When I think about the meals I’ve had this year and dining at Mari.ne is one of them. It’s a hand roll counter situation (15 seats total). Reservations are a must. It’s not far from Bryant Park so easy to get to using public transportation. The fatty tuna still lives rent free in my mind. The confit spicy tuna... mind blowing. The soju cocktails were strong and so delicious (we didn’t even realize they had booze until a few sips). The fish broth soup!! I could eat it everyday honestly. I was so full towards the end of the meal because we got the max amount of rolls in the hand roll set. I would suggest going with the 4 rolls if you plan on getting soup and appetizers. I already have plans to go back here it’s such a chill vibe and I always love watching my hand rolls being made in front of me. This is definitely a place to check out if you like sushi.
